When the eLaunch program is first installed, it is common for there to be a number of shortcuts for running Eclipse already present on the desktop. Since the eLaunch program was created to eliminate the need for these shortcuts cluttering up the desktop, the program allows Eclipse shortcuts to be directly imported and automatically converted to eLaunch configurations. There are two ways to import Eclipse desktop shortcuts.
  1. Drag the Eclipse shortcut from the desktop and drop it on the Eclipse configuration list.
  2. Select the Import Shortcut... item on the File menu and open the desired Eclipse shortcut in the file browser.
Once an Eclipse shortcut has been imported the configuration dialog is opened to confirm and augment the configuration parameters.
Note: Only one Eclipse shortcut can be imported at a time. If multiple shortcuts are selected for import, only the first shortcut will be imported.
