eLaunch(TM) 1.0 Readme Copyright 2005 C Thing Software Quick Start ----------- - Install eLaunch - Start the program - Drag an Eclipse desktop shortuct onto the list area on the program window - Edit the configuration parameters as desired - Run Eclipse using the configuration System Requirements ------------------- - Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 - Pentium 200 MHz processor or higher - eLaunch is supported on Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. eLaunch is not supported on Windows 95 or Windows NT 4. - Internet Explorer 5.01 or above (for online Help) - 96 MB memory or higher - 1.6 MB disk space To use eLaunch with Eclipse, you must install a Java Virtual Machine (http://java.sun.com/) and Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org/). These packages are not part of the eLaunch installation. The eLaunch program has been tested using J2SE 5 Update 5 and Eclipse 3.1. Installation ------------ eLaunch comes with an installer tool to install all program files on the system. In addition to installing the program files, the installer configures the system to run the eLaucnh program. This configuration includes: - Optionally placing an icon on the desktop - Creating an entry on the Program menu Note that eLaunch does not install Eclipse or a Java Virtual Machine. These must be installed separately. Help ---- eLaunch includes extensive help. The program's Help menu provides access to the table of contents and index, as well as a search capability. In addition, context sensitive help is available using the F1 key, and the What's This item on the Help menu.
