C Thing Software firmly believes that your privacy is a right not a luxury. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our home page and throughout our site.

This notice applies to all information collected on the C Thing Software website.

As is typical, we log http requests to our server. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 18.29.0.1) address of a user agent requesting a URL. We also know the Referer and User-Agent information accompanied with an HTTP request. We do not log the specific identity of visitors. We occasionally analyze the log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site or user agent which prompted the request. We may use a cookie to count visitors but we do not associate any user information with that cookie.

We do not associate any visitor information with software downloads. The download statistics we maintain are used for measuring the number and frequency of downloads.

Logged information is kept indefinitely as admistrative and research material; it is not disclosed outside of C Thing Software personnel. Aggregate (completely non-identifying) statistics generated from these logs may be reported as part of research results.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
